Resources for Research: Plat Books

The Museum has a series of county plat books. Some of these include maps of towns and other residential areas, but all of them show the ownership and acreage of each parcel of land in each township of the county.
Researchers may typically consult these books during regular open hours, or make an appointment to come to the Museum at another time.
